Canada Day Celebrations are coming once again to the Village of Newbury! This year is sure to NOT BE MISSED as we have some awesome entertainment for all, as well as our amazing Fireworks display put on by the Fabulous Volunteer Fire-fighters from Newbury. CCMA Winner JAMIE WARREN will be performing for us all on stage, as well as our home-town favorites, The Zoller Boyz and Easy Mark. Live music All day long! We will also be having a very special demonstration from a former local resident, Mike Winia Jr. will be doing a LIVE TREE CARVING demonstration! The big tree that was behind the Municipal Services office will be transformed before our very eyes into something very suitable for our little village! Be sure to come watch!! We will be visited by Jingles the Clown and Friends who will entertain our young ones. The Newbury Legion Branch 583 will be hosting the licensed Beverage Garden. There will be games and Prizes all day long, including a Bike Decorating Contest for children under 12. The Splash pad will be open and there will be fireworks at Dusk. Everything starts at 12 noon, so bring the kids and the family and spend the day in the Newbury Playground and show your Canadian Spirit!!
