Alvinston Maple Syrup Festival

Description:

"Step back in time to learn how Maple Syrup has been manufactured over the centuries from it's discovery, to present day.  First Nations, Early Pioneer, Late Pioneer, and Modern Methods of collecting and boiling sap into the 'liquid gold' are demonstrated.  Syrup products and delicious pancake and sausage meals are provided by the Alvinston Firemen's Association at the Alvinston Arena.  Fees to be announced."

A.W. Campbell Conservation Area is located 3 km. east of Nauvoo Road on Shiloh Line.  Stay awhile and take a walk along the beautiful nature trails following your maple syrup tour..
